A few things that make your appointment go smoothly, and mean you can just relax in the chair.
How to show up
Pick whatever you've booked and I'll tell you how to come in.
Taken down & detangled
Come with your old style fully out and your hair detangled, unless you've booked a take-down service.
Excess matting or detangling is £25 extra. Add Detangling when you book.
Wash & prep included
No need to wash beforehand. Washing it yourself isn't taken off the price, because my professional wash and prep is what makes your style last.
Wash & blow dry is an add-on
Knotless braids don't include a wash. If you'd like me to wash and blow dry your hair first, add it when you book.
Choose from a wash and blow dry, or a wash, treatment and blow dry.
Inspo pictures
Inspo pictures are encouraged. A few photos of what you're going for is the quickest way for us to land on the same idea.
Not needed for retwists or repeat services.
Also for locs maintenance

Patch test first
New colour and brow clients need a patch test before booking, at least 48 hours ahead. Book the Colour Consultation & Patch Test on my booking page. It's a safety thing, so I can't do the service without one.

Wash and prep
A wash is included. Add-ons you've booked, like a scalp treatment, happen here too.

I start your locs
Instant crochet, comb twist or double twist for locs. Interlocking, twists or plaits for micro locs. Whichever we agreed.

You leave knowing how
Tips and education throughout. Ask as many questions as you like.
Locs take patience
Maturing takes anywhere from a few months to a few years. Frizz, flyaways, shrinkage and loose hair are all normal before they fully lock.
Size is permanent
Choose carefully. Locs can be made thicker later, but making them smaller is very difficult.
