20%
Deposit
A 20% non-refundable deposit secures your appointment, paid when you book. Bridal takes 50% to hold the date.
48hrs
To cancel or move
Just let me know at least 48 hours ahead and it's no problem at all. Any later than that and I have to charge 50% of the fee, as the slot's usually too late to fill.
24hrs
Minimum notice to book
Appointments need at least 24 hours' notice. They do go quickly, and last-minute slots are rarely available, so book as early as you can.
100%
No-shows & same-day cancellations
If you don't make it, or you cancel on the day, the full fee is charged. A message at least 48 hours ahead always saves this.
Before you sit down
How to turn up, and what I'll need from you first.
Appointment times
I'm usually in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am. My latest start is 5pm, and services over 5 hours need to start earlier. Availability can vary, so my booking calendar is the place to confirm the date you want. Need a different day? Message me and I'll fit you in if I can.
Running late
There's a grace period of up to 20 minutes. After that, a £10 late fee is added to your appointment. If you're more than 30 minutes late, especially if you haven't let me know, your appointment may be cancelled and treated as a same-day cancellation or no-show, charged at 100%.
New clients
Send me a photo of your hair as it is now before you book, so I can make sure you're booking the right service for the right amount of time.
Consultation forms
New clients fill in the consultation form before booking any service. That's also where you tell me about any allergies, scalp or skin conditions.
Take-downs & detangling
Please arrive with your hair taken down and detangled, unless you've booked a take-down service. This doesn't apply to locs and micro locs. Excess matting or detangling is £25 extra, so add Detangling when you book if you need it.
Wash & prep
Every appointment includes a wash, so you don't need to do it first. If you'd rather, that's fine, it just isn't taken off the price. The exceptions are knotless braids, loc trims and loc cuts, where a wash can be added when you book.
Inspo pictures
Inspo pictures are encouraged, so bring a few photos of what you're going for. Not needed for a retwist or a repeat.
Patch tests
New colour and brow bleach and tone clients need a patch test before booking any colour or bleaching service. Book a Colour Consultation & Patch Test at least 48 hours beforehand.

Coming with someone
18+
18 and over
I'd ask you to come on your own if you can. The studio's small and gets busy, so the waiting seats need to stay free for clients.
17& under
17 and under
Please come along with an adult, and I'll need a parent or guardian's consent before I start anything. I just need this in advance rather than on the day.
13minimum
Under 13
13 is my usual minimum, but I do make exceptions. Give me a shout before booking and we'll figure out whether the studio or a home appointment would suit them best.

Filming & photos
I sometimes film appointments for my socials, but only ever with your say-so. You choose whether your face is shown, or not to be filmed at all, and you can change your mind any time. New clients tell me on the consultation form, and if you haven't filled one in, I'll ask you on the day.
